How to switch back to the old theme of chrome in Windows (disable 2023 refresh)

Google Chrome has received a visual update to celebrate its 15th birthday. The update brought a new look on the desktop. The entire look of Chrome has been redesigned for "better" readability, according to Google: https://blog.google/products/chrome/google-chrome-new-features-redesign-2023/

I think there are a number of problems with this new look.
1. The new theme gives it a Windows 11 look, which I don't like, although that's personal
2. The whole pages, extensions, and the search bar above have gotten bigger, and the spacing between each button is bigger
3. the right-click menu is now twice as big, and it comes up with some kind of lame foreground effect that can be annoying at times

How to restore the old theme in Windows:

You will need a special shortcut that starts Chrome by turning off a setting (the new theme in this case).
I already created it so you can download it HERE, or you can create it yourself, by following these steps:

To create this shortcut, right-click anywhere on the desktop, then select New>Shortcut from the menu.

Type this as the location of the new shortcut:
"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --disable-features=CustomizeChromeSidePane"l

Once you've entered the location, click next, enter any name for the shortcut, then create it and you're done!
To make it work, close all chrome windows and then open the shortcut, so you'll be greeted by the old familiar chrome theme.
Note: if you don't open Chrome from this shortcut, it's possible that you'll experience the horrors of the new theme again.
